Do you wonder about KOPE Services Truck Wash Two-Step cleaning process?
Do you wonder what Two-Steps the KOPE Services team uses and how it differs from other truck washes? Well wonder no more!
Not just dirt…. First off let me explain that the road film isn’t just dirt that is building up on your vehicle and making it filthy. The film that is on your vehicle is a product of dirt, exhaust smoke (both diesel and gas), salt, oil, other vehicle lubricants, and many more elements that make up the film that coats your vehicle. An electrostatic bond is formed to the pollutants from the static electricity & friction that is produced from a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed. This then causes these pollutants to bond to your vehicle’s surface like steel shavings to a magnet.
Sounds awful, right?
Well, there are two options for cleaning… 1. Physically brush that film clean (steel shavings to a magnet being brushed off physically) 2. KOPE Services Two-Step process, which neutralizes that magnetic bond and lets the shavings fall off.
Two-Step Process Explained
Some contaminants that make up road film have a positive charge, and some have a negative charge.
STEP 1 APPLYING A PRESOAK
A low pH pre-soak neutralizes the negatively charged road film particles with positive charged presoak cleaner.
STEP 2 APPLYING THE DETERGENT
The detergent in step two procedure neutralizes the remaining positively charged road film with a negatively charged cleaning and degreasing detergent.
Now that all the road film is neutralized the vehicle will be washed with a moderate pressure that is vinyl sticker and wrap safe and (TAHDAH) clean and bright vehicle!
